he should have done time, then been deported after he served it!

I looked at the video, and it's not obvious he did not genuinely slip.

I agree that he is altogether too accident-prone to be believable, though.

Ahh, yes, deport him back to where he comes from. Bradford, maybe?

I have a foreign-sounding name, so no doubt you would want to deport me
too, were I to commit a crime. The fact I was born in London and lived
all my life in the UK would presumably make no difference to you.

He didn't look as if "he lowered himself to the ground" to me either.

On balance, neither did he hit the floor with much force as one would expect
in an 'unexpected' fall.
